The purpose of this site is to support information sharing within the Fraternity. The information collected is not highly sensitive. All registered users ("Members") can make arbitrary modifications to a shared Address Book. This includes general contact information, spouse name, pledge date, graduation date, big brother, and initiate number. There is also some financial data managed here, but access to this information is restricted to only those few people with a need-to-know.
The security model used here is fairly basic. We try very hard to protect the data managed here, but we cannot provide a guarantee of privacy.
The Fraternity needs your correct mailing address and email address. If you want to throw-in the name of your spouse, when you pledged, etc, that is up to you. The bottom line is that we try to minimize the amount of data we collect so that we don't have to use a security model that makes the whole thing unwieldy.
